Dr. Wang joined Nephropath in 2005 following two years at Vanderbilt Medical Center where he completed a fellowship in renal pathology. After graduating with Honors from the Wannan Medical School in Anhui, China in 1983, Dr. Wang went on to gain a M.S. in Physiology from Suzhou Medical College in Jiangsu, China. He spent four years as an Instructor and Lecturer at Suzhou Medical School before coming to the United States. In 1993, Dr. Wang joined the Renal Section of the Boston University School of Medicine as a Research Fellow. Three years later, he became an Instructor and later a Research Consultant. After ten years at Boston University School of Medicine, he went on to complete his residency in pathology at Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Wang is a member of National Kidney Foundation, American Society of Nephrology, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
