How do you receive my patient’s biopsy?
We receive biopsies via FedEx. Click here for more information on our biopsy kits.
How do I get more kits?
You can call us at 501.604.2695 or order online by clicking here.
Do your kits need to be refrigerated?
Renal kits are stable at room temperature. Neuro kits do need refrigeration, and we send cool packs that will need to be returned frozen with the biopsy.
How do you handle billing?
We can handle billing any way you wish. We can bill your hospital directly or third-party bill.
When will my results be ready?
For renal biopsies, your final results will be ready the day after your patient’s biopsy is performed. For muscle and nerve biopsies, preliminary results will be ready within 24hrs with the final results in 5 days or less.
How will I get my results?
Our physician will call you directly upon reading your patient’s case. Once the report is finalized, you will be faxed a copy of the report, and have the ability to view the report and images via our website and Arkana Connect app.
Do you read biopsies on Saturdays?
Saturday results are possible, but we need your help to make that happen. If you have an emergency case you would like read on Saturday, the following steps must be taken:
– Call our office on Friday by 5:00 pm CST
– Provide us with a weekend contact number for the referring physician on call
