We are thrilled to recognize Dr. Tiffany Caza, MD, PhD, for her outstanding impact in renal pathology and patient care. Since joining Arkana Labs after completing her fellowship in 2019, Dr. Caza has become a driving force in advancing our understanding of kidney disease and autoimmune disease/immunology. She has shaped the field by contributing to over 100 publications, including recent studies on membranous nephropathy and innovative diagnostic approaches for transplant-associated kidney disease—research that directly improves outcomes for patients worldwide. According to research productivity reports from the NIH, most pathologists actively performing research will only publish 1-2 articles per year on average, highlighting the significance of Dr. Caza’s accomplishment.

Beyond her scientific achievements, Dr. Caza brings creativity to medicine through her passion for art. Her abstract kidney paintings remind us that science and art share a common purpose: to illuminate and inspire.
