Cholesterol Arterial Emboli

This is an IgG IF viewed under both fluorescent and polarized light from a patient with AKI following endovascular procedure. What is your diagnosis?

Cholesterol Arterial Emboli

The image shows an artery with a cholesterol cleft inside (yellow polarizable material). In a patient with suspicion for cholesterol arterial emboli, looking at the frozen IF sections under polarized light is important, as emboli may be focal and these may be the only sections containing them.
