This acellular scanning EM shows several glomerular capillary loops from a biopsy with membranous glomerulonephritis, stage II. The extracted deposits previously resided in the dark spaces. The lighter GBM corresponds to “spikes” on silver stain. Photo credits to Dr. Stephen Bonsib!
