What’s your diagnosis?
These electron photomicrographs show powdery, punctate, electron-dense light chain type deposits within the tubular basement membranes and are consistent with light chain deposition disease. In this case, the deposits were lambda light chain restricted (not shown) which was consistent with the patient’s SPEP findings and history of multiple myeloma.
