About

Jason Paris, PhD joined Arkana Laboratories in 2022. He received his BS from Marywood University in Scranton, PA and his PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from The University at Albany-SUNY in Albany, NY. He completed postdoctoral fellowships in Pharmacology and Neurovirology at the Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies and Virginia Commonwealth University. After completing his training, Dr. Paris established a pharmacology and neurovirology laboratory at the University of Mississippi that was continually funded by the National Institutes of Health. While at the University of Mississippi, he directed a contract research organization and established a Bioenergetics Phenotyping Core. Since joining Arkana, Dr. Jason Paris serves as the Chief Scientific Officer.
