Dr. Nicholas Cossey joins our staff following the completion of his fellowship training in renal pathology at Nephropath. Dr. Cossey received his MD and completed his pathology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, AR. As a resident at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Dr. Cossey taught the renal pathology portion of the sophomore medical student pathology course.
Dr. Cossey became board certified in Anatomic Pathology in 2012 and Clinical Pathology in 2013. During his fellowship at Nephropath he received the Renal Pathology Society’s Pathologist-In-Training Best USCAP Abstract Award. He also won the Academy of Clinical Laboratory Physicians and Scientists Paul E. Strandjord Young Investigator Award, in June of 2010.
Dr. Cossey is a member of the College of American Pathologists, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the Renal Pathology Society, and the American Society of Nephrology.
