Dr. Best joins our staff following the completion of his fellowship training in renal pathology at Nephropath. Dr. Best received his medical degree in 2007 from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in Tijuana, Mexico. He went on to complete his pathology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, where he served as Chief Resident in the Department of Pathology & Immunology. Dr. Best completed a fellowship in pediatric pathology prior to his fellowship in renal.
In 2014, Dr. Best became board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Dr. Best is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, Renal Pathology Society, Society for Pediatric Pathology, and the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology.
