Dr. Kerime Ararat received her medical degree from Istanbul School of Medicine and completed residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at UMass Chan Medical School and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She has developed a strong foundation in diagnostic pathology with growing expertise in renal pathology through both clinical experience and research involvement.
Dr. Ararat has been actively engaged in research, including work at Arkana Laboratories focused on gene expression profiling in renal allograft rejection and the development of databases for glomerular diseases. She has contributed to peer‑reviewed publications and national presentations and remains involved in professional societies, with interests in renal pathology, digital pathology, and translational research.
